Illumination

ILLUMINATION

I grab it with both hands, I hold on to it, hold on to it
I’m collecting, of all of it, all the dirt, all the filth, all the hurt, and the rot, and the blur, oh
It’s causing a overdose, which I can’t process, i can’t process, I can’t
Like a melody, it sticks in my head,

And I’m getting tired, tired,
I’m looking for silence, silence
I’m getting tired
I’m overthinking, on repeat and I want it to stop

So done, with exaggerating
Always overcompensating
Tired, of all the frustrations
Looking out for, illumination

Closure is a word that I’m learning
I found there ain’t always a reason
Moving, I cannot keep waiting
I’m ready for, ready for it, illumination

I put it on paper, writing down, throw away, that’s what they say
The conversation still won’t fade, but, let me tell you, that’s about to change

And I’m getting tired, tired,
I’m looking for silence, silence
I’m getting tired
I’m overthinking, on repeat and I want it to stop

So done, with exaggerating
Always overcompensating
Tired, of all the frustrations
Looking out for, illumination

Closure is a word that I’m learning
I found there ain’t always a reason
Moving, I cannot keep waiting
I’m ready for, ready for it, illumination

I found that the sun was shining bright, even though I couldn’t see through the clouds
If can make the haze erase, the rays of sunlight will brighten my day
Facing the sun, what’s there to lose, cause no light can ever really harm you
Devoting, I surrender, embracing, But I will remember

So done, with exaggerating
Always overcompensating
Tired, of all the frustrations
Looking out for, illumination

Closure is a word that I’m learning
I found there ain’t always a reason
Moving, I cannot keep waiting
I’m ready for, ready for it, illumination
